What should I bring to Children’s Camp 2009?
A kind, respectful attitude
A willingness to get along with others and have a great week
Closed-toe comfortable tennis shoes (No Crocs)– THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! You must have this type of shoe for horseback riding! You will also need them for hiking down to the canoes. Bringing comfortable tennis shoes will really help make your week better.
Comfortable clothes (No short shorts or strapless shirts.)
Long pants for horse back riding
OLD shorts, shirt, closed toed tennis shoes for mud stomping (make sure these are clothes/shoes that you don’t absolutely have to take back home since they may get so dirty you may not want to keep them)
Socks
Flip-flop type shoes for the beach and wearing to the bathroom
Swimming suit (one piece for girls/no speedos for boys)
Plastic bag for dirty clothes!
Sunscreen/bug spray
Bedding (sheets and a blanket or a sleeping bag) and pillow
Umbrella or rain gear
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, deodorant)
Towels
A bright flashlight—(it gets dark in the woods)

***Make sure all items are marked with child’s name or initials.***
